Recently I removed gluten from my eating/drinking as part of my photo shoot diet and people have called me crazy for it.
As my diet for this photo shoot is some what restrictive and I don’t recommend it for everyone, I would advise you to limit or remove gluten from your diet
Gluten: Gluten is a wheat protein, also found in barley and rye. Research is showing that many of us are highly intolerant to wheat and products that contain wheat, without the severe reactions.
Some common symptoms are irritable bowel syndrome, chronic constipation and the constant feeling of being “bloated.” In addition to overcoming those common symptoms mentioned above, I’ve found my clients and I have decreased the amount of belly fat around our stomach and hips, after removing gluten products.
Additionally, you will have more energy and feel healthier upon eliminating gluten from your diet. Gluten is found in most of the food and drinks out there. There is finally a movement against gluten to which you are starting to see more “gluten” free menu choices and options at the grocery store. Just understand that “gluten free” or “anything free” is not always healthy!
If nothing else, try removing it for a day and see how you feel.
Here’s how to remove it:
-Check ingredients for gluten and do not consume anything that contains it
-Be ultra careful if you’re eating out. Ask server for “gluten” free
-Really just focus on eating the healthiest foods; eat fresh veggies, fruit, nuts, eggs and lean proteins
Try this and please let me know how you feel after
